The Lake Social Club
The Lake Social Club was created with the intention of community building around the concepts of fun, delight + mindful pleasure. Join us for some low stakes, high social reward mindful group activities in + around Kingston starting early 2023. We’re talking: cold plunges, trivia, bowling, karaoke, roller skating, book club, running / walking club, pickleball – you name it, we’re probably game.

Join us Thursday June 13 for a self guided sketching night. Spend 2.5 hours with a clothed model in an open studio setting, no instructor, basic supplies provided. The session will consist of multiple poses, beginning with gestures, and varied increments of time.
Bring your favourite materials and sketch book, or use our provided paper, pencils, and a variety of pastels.
For amateur and experienced artists, welcome to all skill levels. Tea will be provided and cold drinks available to purchase from @its.thelake.

🍓Kay will lead participants through choosing a subject, carving 3 stamps out of linoleum, and using them to print a repeating pattern on a tea towel (provided; or other garments if you wish to bring your own and get even more creative!).
🍓Perfect for anyone looking for an introduction to block printing, anyone who likes calming repetitive art making or just someone looking to come create in our Studio loft!

Each guest was offered a wine flight featuring 4 reds and 1 white. Guests ranked each wine and provided feedback to help decide which wine would be added to the bar's menu!
