Les New Orleans Bywater Bitters présentent un trio alléchant de saveurs - anis étoilé, clou de girofle et menthe - qui forment le goût caractéristique de la recette intemporelle des cocktails bitters à la Nouvelle-Orléans, inventée par Antoine Peychaud au début des années 1900.
Cet amer est composé de glycérine végétale et d’eau distillée et est totalement sans alcool. Il est infusé d'un mélange d'herbes aromatiques et de plantes et présente des notes d'absinthe, de fenouil et de cannelle.
Vous pouvez l'utiliser pour rehausser des cocktails classiques comme le Sazerac ou le Vieux Carré. Alternativement, vous pouvez ajouter un peu d'eau gazeuse ou de seltz pour une boisson rafraîchissante. Ils peuvent également être ajoutés au vin désalcoolisé pour ajouter de la complexité et offrir une finale sèche.
