New Orleans Bywater Bitters feature a tantalizing trio of flavours - Star Anise, Clove, and Mint - that form the signature taste of the timeless recipe for New Orleans-style cocktail bitters, invented by Antoine Peychaud in the early 1900s.
This bitter is made with vegetable glycerin and distilled water and is completely non-alcoholic. It is infused with a blend of aromatic herbs and botanicals and has hints of wormwood, fennel, and cinnamon.
You can use it to elevate classic cocktails such as the Sazerac or Vieux Carré. Alternatively, you can add a splash in soda water or seltzer for a refreshing drink. They can also be added to de-alcoholized wine to add complexity and provide a dry finish.
