Among other thought leaders in the sexual wellness space, co-founder of The Lake, Bren Gauthier, caught up with Harper's Bazaar France to share our view on sexual wellness, sex-washing + the importance of consumer education in the growing pleasure industry:
If this new field is all the more appealing, it's important to keep a cool head and beware of sex-washing. "As people become increasingly aware of their sensuality, people are necessarily interested in these promises but these body care products are not there to solve sexual problems", says Bren Gauthier, co-founder of specialist e-shop The Lake. In fact, no study proves the impact of an aphrodisiac or CBD on libido.
